The choice of material is a critical decision in all product development. Aluminium makes it possible to give the product suitable physical and mechanical properties at the same time as achieving an aesthetically attractive appearance. Furthermore, the extrusion technique, combined with the right alloy and proper thermal treatment, offers an infinite number of application opportunities. It also forms the basis for product improvement. Pure aluminium is only used in a limited way commercially. The majority of extrusions are made from aluminium alloyed with other metals. The most common elements used are magnesium (Mg), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn) and copper (Cu). They form between 0.2 and 7.0 per cent of the alloys.
6000 series : Al + Mg + Si
The 6000 series has good extrudability and can be solution heat treated at the extrusion temperature. Furthermore, these alloys have medium to high strength, are easy to weld and offer good resistance to corrosion. The bulk of the extruded material for load bearing constructions is made from these qualities.
Anodised aluminium is one of the most widely used materials in the construction sector. It is easy to find anodized parts in doors, bathroom accessories and, of course, in roofs, windows and interior and exterior finishes in buildings.
Anodizing is an electrolytic process, i.e. it uses an electrical current to generate an electrolysis reaction, which includes anodic oxidation and cathodic reduction. It is at this point that the aluminium anode is covered, almost entirely, by an alumina film.
Types of anodizing
Chromic acid anodizing
Sulfuric acid anodizing
Silicon anodizing
Hard anodizing
Common thicknesses and uses
Classes 5 - 10: 5-9 micron and 10-14 micron - Indoor use only
Class 15: 15-19 microns - Standard class. Outdoor use
Class 20: 20-24 microns - Used in aggressive, industrial and marine conditions
Class 25: 25-29 microns - Used in industrial or marine conditions
Perhaps the most important attribute of anodized aluminum is its beauty. The anodic layer of aluminum oxide is a translucent crystalline structure that enhances the natural metallic beauty of the aluminum beneath. This three dimensional sapphire crystalline structure reflects and refracts light in unique ways helping the material come alive as well as match almost any color that can be imagined, especially for interior finishes. In addition, these colors can be applied to finishes that are brushed, embossed, bright or matte.
Aluminum Oxide is part of the Corundum family of gemstones, like a sapphire, and is second only to diamonds in terms of hardness. The hardness of the anodic layer makes it very abrasion resistant, outperforming paint in Tabor abrasion and pencil hardness tests, which means a more durable product with a better Return on Investment.
The sapphire hardness of aluminum oxide protects and preserves the aluminum surface from corrosion in harsh weather environments, including coastal areas. Salt spray is ph neutral, so it has little impact on the anodic layer, and the anodic layer's hardness helps keep the aluminum beneath from being damaged. This is why anodized aluminum is often used for marine parts.

Q1: What's the standard length of your aluminium profiles be shipping?
A: Usually, profile of 5.9 meter for a standard TEU 20' loading. Though extrsion can be much longer than 6 meters, but the aging oven limit the length of profiles. T4 proflle can be 11.9 meter for a 40' Loading.
Q2: What's your MOQ?
A: 5 tons.
Q3: Can you produce according to the samples?
A: Yes, we can produce the profile by your samples or the technical drawings. The dies and the related fixtures can be inhouse or ourt side scouring.
Q4: What is your sample policy?
A:we can supply the sampel if stock available, the courier cost will be for buyer's account.
Q5: What's the packing way?
A: Commonly, PE film, poly bag, bubble bag and then wood pallet, and the customers' requirements are highly respected.
